Captain Zachary Holick is the heart and soul behind Captain Zach’s Fishing Charter, a locally owned guide service based in Savannah, Georgia. A lifelong angler with deep roots in the Lowcountry, Zach combines genuine Southern hospitality, expert seamanship, and a true love for the water to create authentic experiences on the coast. Inspired by his grandfather’s passion for fishing, his connection to Savannah’s rivers and creeks began in early childhood. After later spending time living aboard a sailboat, Zach gained a profound respect for the marine environment—an experience that strengthened his dedication to sharing the natural beauty and rich fishing heritage of coastal Georgia with others.

With years of hands-on experience navigating the region’s complex waterways, Captain Zach specializes in customized inshore and nearshore trips for anglers of all ages and skill levels. His intimate understanding of local tides, seasonal shifts, and species behavior allows him to consistently put guests in the best position to target redfish, black drum, sheepshead, cobia, flounder, and sharks. Every outing is carefully planned around the day's conditions and the specific goals of those on board, ensuring an educational, productive, and memorable day on the water.

Your time on the water is spent aboard a clean, reliable 23-foot Sportsman center console, powered by a dependable 200HP Yamaha outboard. Purpose-built for coastal Georgia’s diverse terrain, this vessel offers a smooth, stable, and dry ride, whether navigating shallow creek bends or venturing into nearshore waters. The boat is fully equipped with modern navigation electronics, top-tier safety gear, comfortable seating, and high-quality fishing tackle, accommodating up to six guests with plenty of room to move around and fish comfortably.
